My nonprofit, the Generation of Participation in Democracy, is a tax-exempt public charity in the United States under IRS 501(c)(3).

We develop educational programs to prepare students of the Américas for local and international capacity building, including the use of local, private, sustainable AI for solving problems better, not faster or easier.

The GPD is a California Public Benefit Corporation in compliance with California Department of Justice registration.

Instituto Dourados

Instituto Dourados (i.e., the “Golden Institute”) is the GPD’s inaugural Flagship Institute, founded by myself and my colleague, Dr. Izabela Mauricio de Rezende to support public health policy autonomy of Indigenous peoples, focusing on the Dourados Indigenous Reserve in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.

Later in 2026 we will begin selling our Sustainable Inference Box, a portable system for supercomputer cluster-scale capacity on your desktop, featuring:

Local, private AI (Large Language Model - LLM - inference)
High-performance agent-based modeling to infer theoretical model implications, hypotheses, before gathering data
Markov-chain Monte Carlo generative Bayesian inference for statistical model fitting to evaluate the veracity of a hypothesis of interest

The Sustainable Inference Box harnesses NVIDIA’s GPU system on a chip (SoC) Jetson Orin Nano, pre-loaded with a suite of open source computational science software in a preconfigured Arch Linux ecosystem.

I believe there is great potential strategic advantage to developing AI that is private and renewables-powered by default.

In the near future we will also be launching online tools for planning educational interventions to promote adaptive behaviors or develop public health strategies given stylized real-world constraints.
